First stop on our journey at a local market (not touristy at all!) before continuing along the quiet, picturesque coastal roads to the north of Lombok.

Take a step back in time visiting a traditional village where little has changed for generations.

Onward to Senaru, a sleepy village nestled in the foothills of the misty Rinjani volcano.

Descend the ancient stairway to Sindang Gila waterfall, the water cascading down from a dizzying height of 50 metres.

Follow the track through the rain forest to Tiu Kelep waterfall. A magical place where you can bathe in the pool below the falls.

Overnight at an organic farm homestay. Here you will receive a warm welcome and your evening meal will be prepared using produce freshly picked from the garden.

After a healthy breakfast, we make our way up into the mountains and down into Sembalun village. Renowned for the spectacular views of its patchwork fields spread across the valley. Strawberries and flowers grow in abundance here.

We then head towards Tetebatu in central Lombok, discovering the unique culture and diverse traditions of Lombok on the way. Overnight in a cozy homestay set in the beautiful rice fields.

A guided walk through the beautiful countryside around Tetebatu. Lush green rice fields. Your guide will explain how the various crops are grown including rice, coffee, cocoa and vanilla.

In the afternoon a stop at a local village to see the Lumbung rice barns, unique to Lombok.

Your last night of the tour includes a wonderful hotel in Kuta, Lombok, in the South of the island. Kuta centre with its laid back vibe and cool restaurants is only a short walk away. This area is famous for its white beaches and surfing.
